PeeWee inverters

The mostly Do-it-yourself (DIY) solar site

You won’t find a better user friendly site. Here is why

  • Easy reading with fair size print.
  • We get right to the point.
  • We give you pictures and diagrams to help you.
  • No distracting advertisements
  • No pop ups, pop under, mouse roll over, or wave over.
  • We do the research so that you don’t have to. (research is very time consuming)

O.K. the not so good: This site is a work in progress with constant up-dating to make it better and is considered “never complete” So if something is missing or not clear, let us know.

Newbies start here

Almost always the first thing that people want to know, is how much money will all this stuff cost me. So we go the extra mile to help you. The bottom line is how much electricity do you get for the money spent? The basic formula is “power that you get  from your project for a year  divided by money spent for that year”. The answer you get will be in “watt/hour per dollar”. The larger the number the greater savings.  This formula will be posted on many of the projects on the site for comparison purposes. Any project on any site or any solar investment can be converted to “watts/hour/dollar”or W/D for comparison purposes. If money is a factor I recommend to keep this formula in mind for all projects. Click the “Cost Factor” button for more info. I think you will be surprised on what you find.

There are only a few projects on this site but there are more to come as I get time to get then here. So check by often.

12 volt connectors

Start your 12 volt project with 12 volt plugs and receptacles. This type of V plug is used in some generators as a 12 volt battery charger. I am looking for a good supply of these connectors. You can order them from some generator companies in small quantities but they are not cheap.
